The power of coaching can be a life-changing experience as it allows you to take the effort to challenge yourself and compel you to think deeply within. It helps to clear the clutter of thoughts and explores a clear vision of thoughts.
In my view coaching helps the individual who gets coached (the coachee) with the whole process of making them think and open the minds, on the contradictory, it brings valuable experience to the coach, the feeling of fulfillment, and being part of a deep conversation. It does not stop there as with the whole process of coaching it touches the heart and that what I call the power of coaching can bring to both the parties. Coaching has the power to create a paradigm shift as clearing the roadblocks and the cobweb in the mind tends to make an individual more mature in the thought process.
While thinking it is important how is the thinking process more than what is she/he is thinking. With the coaching process, it is possible to practice it, and if this is inculcated from a very young age then we are developing Generation Z (aka Gen Z: born between 1996 to 2010) with a strong foundation. During the young adult stage if they go through the coaching process, at a very young age they will develop a deepen thinking process. So, if we coach them young, we can catch them young. In my coaching journey recently, I got an opportunity to interact with the gen Z and I could realize the potential it may create. This young generation is ambitious and confident though are a bit impatient (yes ok not bit, I know more than that)
At this tender age when they shift to adulthood, the mind goes through a tremendous change. The thinking pattern at this age will determine the way they shape the future. These are not about the career dilemmas but also going through an emotional change leading to social pressure, academic demands, peer pressure. Coaching can help to build the confidence to approach difficult people and face tougher situations. With the structure thinking process, it will be possible to manage the stress and anxiety levels. Given to the extend to support the colleagues who can open in their safe space to develop a meaningful relationship. For some topics, it is more comfortable to open with your friend than anyone, and with the coaching conversation, it will surely help to lead to a cohesive environment giving a different perspective to their thinking. Coaching instilling at a young age will also naturally indulge in the self-coaching process which is the way how to think. It can be the process to make then self-sufficient and strike a deeper conversation with parents and teachers.
Coaching at a young age will nurture as a better human being as one of the competencies, to be an active listener which is something all they will need and keep on discovering on their path to the future.
