A growing number of organizations recognize the value in building a coaching culture that offers employees at all levels the opportunity to grow their skills, enhance their value and reach their professional goals. Through a research partnership with the Human Capital Institute (HCI), ICF is exploring the components of strong coaching cultures and how organizations use coaching to achieve strategic objectives.

Since 2014, ICF and the Human Capital Institute (HCI) have jointly investigated the fundamental tenets of coaching cultures within organizations and established a set of benchmarks for creating robust coaching environments in organizations.

This year’s research comes at a pivotal moment, following a period of immense workplace transformation triggered by the global pandemic, and it sheds light on critical trends affecting coaching cultures. While revisiting many of the subjects from previous reports, this one also focuses on barriers such as burnout and employee turnover, the influence of technology advancements like digital coaching platforms, and the prospect of coaching an increasingly remote workforce. Additionally, it looks at the impact of coaching on trending initiatives such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), upskilling, and employee well-being

Day 1: Coaching in organization by Ayse Ozpirincci
A highly talented Human Capital and Organizational Development Consultant, experienced in leading global mentoring and talent development programs. Day 2:  Rehumanizing the Collective: Ubuntu Intelligence for Transforming by Dumi Magadlela  
An accomplished Executive Coach, Team Coach and Ubuntu Coach, with a strong focus on leadership development and organisational transformation. Dumi is a dedicated leader in the growth and development of the coaching profession. He serves on the global board of International Coaching Federation (ICF) as chair (2023-2024), and was the founding Board Chair of the Ubuntu Coaching Foundation and The Coaching Center (TCC). He has been Senior Faculty at The Coaching Centre for over 16 years and is now the Vice Principal of one of the leading coach-training schools in Africa. Dumi is also a founding member of the Africa Board for Coaching and Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP), which promotes coaching across the African continent. Dumi is also a best-selling author on coaching with his latest book titled Ubuntu Coaching and Connection Practices for Leader-Managers (2023).

Day 3: Panel Discussion – Evolution and Changes in Coaching
Discusses the significant transformations in the coaching industry, the importance of cultural diversity and inclusion, the rising demand for personalized coaching experiences, the integration of coaching into organizational strategies for leadership development and employee engagement, the shift towards a results-oriented approach emphasizing measurable outcomes, and the emergence of new specialized coaching niches to meet specific client needs.

Day 4: Clean Coaching by Philippe R. Declecrq
A Master Certified Coach (MCC) with 18 years of experience in individual and team coaching. Based between Europe and Africa, he is passionate about personal and professional development, particularly within multicultural contexts. With over 5,000 coaching hours, Philippe leads the International Professional Coaching Program (PI-Coach. Pro) and specializes in career, executive, team, and organizational coaching. He is dedicated to transforming lives and actively contributes to the ICF coaching community through mentorship and supervision.

Day 5: Personal Branding and Coaching Experience  by Terry Pan
Terry is a versatile professional with over 20 years of experience in creative brand strategy, marketing communications, storytelling, and training across Greater China. Based in Shanghai for 15 years, he has advised top brands like Rolex, Land Rover, and Apple. A credentialed coach and thought leader, Terry holds ICF PCC, CEC Certified Executive Coach, and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach credentials. Terry has won two gold awards at the EFFIE China Marketing Effectiveness Awards and was named a LinkedIn China Top Voice in Marketing for 2020, with over 100,000 followers.
