Coaching is a chance for self-exploration and to travel within oneself, to discover and use resources you may never have known that you had, to design a life you’ve always wanted. The best part of coaching is a transformational sense, that you are not the same person that you were when you began, that you are now a better version of yourself, that you have opened up new inspiring opportunities that was not clear earlier.

Making clear as to where one stands at present and what one wants to achieve is vital to the journey of coaching. What’s most important is that the coach commits to the client as much as he/she commit, throughout the process.

Through proper exploration and challenging, the client will be able to understand and work on one’s limiting beliefs and finally able to find ways and means of eliminating these limiting beliefs and maximize one’s potential.
Clients recognize their own abilities to find the right direction and to address challenges along the way. They are in-the-making models of what it means to fully learn, be fully effective, and be on the path to creating a more and more joyful and fulfilling life. Clients discover possibilities that would otherwise remain beyond their wildest dreams.

In my personal journey in the world of coaching, I was helping the clients explore the situation they are facing and by challenging them, they see with more clarity and then they begin to unwind the situation in ways in which we wouldn’t have thought of earlier. But after I attended the course in Coach To Transformation, I found that there was a paradigm shift in the way in which I was looking at the coaching process now.

The course enlightened me to work on the Individual and not on the situation. So, I started working on the Client instead of the situation that the client brought up to me. I was using the same process of exploration & challenging through open ended questions but keeping my focus on the individual and not on the situation and it started doing wonders.

The situation is created by the individual, the limiting beliefs are created by the individual, and by working on the individual all other aspects fell in place automatically.

Having said that, I would also like to mention that each and every client is unique in his or her own way and that there is no one clear recipe to approach all clients. I did experience certain clients who in the process of exploration have come to know of their own limiting beliefs but do not want to immediately express the same on the common platform for whatever reason and such clients do finally open up completely when they are asked some direct questions or in certain cases challenged. However, we as a coach will have to be sensitive when we tread on this path.

I would like to conclude by saying that, the world of coaching is an amazing world and I Love it.
